Every journal line carries a hash chain: trace verify walks it and names the first broken link; trace reproduce says whether a run is reproducible and WHY not; the journal attests which engine on which platform wrote it. Models are priced before the first run (602 rules from models.dev; the VS Code preflight shows $/1M on this tag); check IS the dry-run (the plan names what dispatches when); doctor speaks JSON; bare init/new converse; and the drift warn tells a re-encode from an edit.
